Product Description

The ZGQ single-chamber vacuum high-pressure & high-flow gas quenching furnace is a multifunctional vacuum furnace. It is mainly applied to bright gas quenching of alloy structural steel, alloy tool steel, die steel, bearing steel, elastic alloy, stainless steel and high-speed steel. It also supports vacuum tempering and vacuum sintering. In addition, it is suitable for vacuum brazing of stainless steel with copper-based, nickel-based, silver-based and other filler metals.

The complete furnace set consists of the main furnace body, vacuum system, electric control system, gas charging system, water cooling system, pneumatic system and external charging trolley.

The main furnace adopts a horizontal single-chamber configuration, composed of a furnace shell and a furnace door. Both the furnace shell and furnace door are designed with double-layer water-cooled structure, and the inner and outer walls are fabricated of 8 mm carbon steel plate. The furnace door adopts a hinge side-opening structure. The rear section is equipped with a standard elliptical head welded with a motor mounting flange for the built-in circulating gas cooling system.

The furnace shell, furnace door and motor cover all adopt double-wall water-cooled construction. The inner wall is made of special pressure vessel steel plate, and the outer wall is rolled and welded with carbon steel plate. One end is welded to the door flange, and the other end is connected and sealed with the elliptical head and the cooling motor flange, with circulating cooling water inside. A high-power cooling fan is installed at the rear of the furnace, covered by a water-cooled motor housing. A dual-direction sealing structure with locking ring is adopted between furnace shell and door, ensuring reliable tightness under negative pressure and high-pressure gas cooling conditions.

The heating chamber (hot zone) is composed of thermal insulation layers, heating elements, graphite injection nozzles and material carrier platform. The insulation system is a round integral structure, composed of three layers of 20 mm soft graphite felt and one layer of 30 mm rigid graphite felt. It delivers excellent heat preservation performance. The rigid graphite felt effectively prevents the insulation layer from being damaged or blown off by high-speed airflow during gas quenching, greatly prolonging the service life of the hot zone. The insulation assembly is fixed on a rigid frame made of stainless steel mesh and angle steel. Fixed air baffles are installed at the front and rear ends, wrapped with CFC materials to avoid airflow erosion.

Graphite tubes are adopted as heating elements with ceramic insulation parts. Heating elements are evenly arranged along the inner circumference of the insulation layer to realize uniform heating and low heat loss; each element is independently detachable for easy maintenance and replacement. Multiple rows of graphite spray nozzles are circumferentially distributed inside the heating chamber. During gas quenching, circulating cooling gas is evenly jetted through the graphite nozzles to ensure consistent quenching effect.

The material carrier platform consists of graphite supports, graphite hearth and Si₂O₃ isolation strips, which effectively prevent adhesion between the material tray and graphite hearth under high temperature. The hot zone is designed as one independent heating & temperature control zone. High-purity alumina insulating parts are used for stable high-voltage and high-temperature insulation.

At the rear of the furnace, a high-speed impeller fan, square multi-stage brazed copper heat exchanger and air duct flow guiding devices are integrated. During the cooling process, high-purity nitrogen or argon is filled into the furnace. Driven by the high-speed fan, the gas flows through the high-efficiency copper heat exchanger, enters the impeller for circulation conversion, and is evenly sprayed onto workpieces through flow guiding pipelines and nozzles, realizing uniform forced cooling and high-flow closed circulation for rapid gas quenching.

A medium or high vacuum pumping system is equipped on the side of the furnace, realizing oxidation-free heating and bright heat treatment.

This equipment is primarily used for high-pressure gas quenching of die steel, tool steel, high-speed steel, stainless steel and other alloy steels. Meanwhile, it integrates multiple functions including vacuum tempering, vacuum annealing, vacuum sintering and various vacuum brazing processes.
