Glovebox


1. Acceptance Criteria:

Under standard conditions, namely at a constant temperature of 20-25 °C, with a relativehumidity of 65% and an 99.999% inert gas source, the oxygen content in the circulating water of the empty box body should all be less than 1 ppm.

II. Main Technical Specifications and Configurations

1. The box is designed in a split style, which can reduce vibrations.

1.1. Dimensions: 1800mm (length) × 900mm (height) × 750mm (width).

1.2. Material: Fully stainless steel structure (Type 304), thickness 3mm.

1.3. Filter: Pore size 0.3 microns.

1.4. Butyl rubber gloves: Imported from the United States, thickness 0.4mm, glove opening 8 inches, hard aluminum alloy glove opening (with anti-corrosion treatment, anodized aluminum), diameter 220mm.

1.5. Window: Inclined design operation surface, detachable 8mm safety tempered glass front window, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, good light transmission, sealing ring 3/8 inch thick OMEGA sealing ring.

1.6. During use, it can maintain a certain positive and negative pressure (-1200~1200Pa) within the set range.

1.7. The box body is equipped with anti-reflective lighting energy-saving lamps, with soft light.

1.8. The box body is equipped with 2 adjustable shelves for display boards.

1.9. The box body is equipped with a porous power socket board (power: 220V ± 10%  50Hz ± 10%).

1.10. The box body can be set with 5 standard KF-40 interfaces.

1.11. Leakage rate: ≤ 0.001vol%/h.

1.12. Steel structure support, with casters 950mm high, equipped with universal casters.
2. Transition Cabin

2.1. Shape: Cylindrical (304 stainless steel), connected to the glove box, equipped with an axially locked large transition cabin door, easy to operate.

2.2. Dimensions: Diameter 360mm, length 600mm large transition cabin, piston valve, the transition cabin has a movable tray, polished, an additional small transition cabin is set inside the box, with specifications of diameter 150mm, length 300mm, manually controlled for vacuuming and replenishing air.

2.3. Tray: Can freely extend (The large transition compartment is equipped with)

2.4. Vacuum Degree ≤ 1 bar (Both large and small right transition compartments are required to be able to vacuum and display vacuum values)

3. Control System

3.1. Method: Includes self-diagnosis, power-off self-starting features, pressure control and adaptive functions. Automatic control, cycle control, password protection, vacuum chamber control are displayed by LCD. Unit control uses Siemens PLC touch screen.

3.2. Pressure Control: Controls the pressure of the box and the transition cabin at a certain set value.

a) Users can set the working pressure range between +12 and -12 mbars, with an accuracy of ±1 Pa. The PLC will automatically regulate the pressure of the box within the set range. The default value of the working pressure range is -1 to +3 mbars.

b) When the box pressure is greater than 12 mbars, the PLC automatically opens the safety valve to relieve pressure, protecting gloves, equipment and materials inside the box.

c) Use foot pedal switches to make fine adjustments to the box pressure.

3.3. Foot Pedal: Can control the pressure of the glove box and facilitate operation.
4. Circulatory System (including purification and regeneration system)

4.1. Purification materials from BASF of Germany and UOP of the United States, valves from Baode of Germany. The main system is designed with modular integration, featuring fully automatic electronic control, pneumatic valves, PLC control, circuits, circulation pumps, purification units, and displays integrated into a separate purification unit, forming a compact and minimalist system.

4.2. Control: Water and oxygen are controlled at less than 1PPm.

4.3. Regulating device: Through PLC touch control (heating, vacuuming, purification, regeneration), the entire process lasts 2.5 hours without the need for manual monitoring.

4.4. Working gas: He, N2/ or Ar gas (gas circulation)

4.5. Circulation fan: 0-100m³ high-speed variable frequency fan, microprocessor control, the stainless steel device that has undergone pressure testing, Install shock-absorbing pads at the bottom.

4.6. Purification column: Single purification column, imported purification materials from BASF of Germany - deoxygenation material 5kg, UOP of the United States - efficient water-absorbing material 5kg, with extremely long service life, ensuring the long-term and persistent purification capacity of the product during use. Water removal capacity 2.2kg, oxygen absorption capacity 63L.

4.7. Purification valve: Fully automatic electric actuator valve.

4.8. Filter: High-efficiency filter using filter screens with a 0.3 micron aperture that comply with HEPA standards.

4.9. Regeneration: For the purification system to be reused and activated; regeneration requires a mixture of helium/hydrogen, nitrogen/hydrogen, or argon/hydrogen, with hydrogen accounting for 10%.

The recycled gas first flows into the flowmeter and then into the purification column.

5. Display System

German SIEMENS, the unit control uses a Siemens PLC touch screen. It can switch between Chinese and English.

6. Vacuum System

Add control for the start and stop time of the vacuum pump.

The vacuum pump is selected as the British Edwards non-oil vacuum pump, model nxds10i, with a suction rate of 11.4m³/h.

Alternative option (the vacuum pump is selected as the Baus IDSP10 vortex dry vacuum pump, with a suction rate of 10m³/h)

7. Automatic Box Cleaning

Automatic pneumatic electroplating plate; The automatic gas cleaning function inside the box allows users to set the cleaning time, and by touching the screen and pressing the start button, the system will begin the cleaning of the box. The cleaning will stop automatically when the set time is reached. The automatic cleaning valve is firmly connected to the integration point of the box pipeline using KF25 steel wire-containing plastic pipe, and the external interface is a KF25 pyramid connector.

8. Low-temperature Air Conditioning

Installed on the top of the box

The constant temperature box is mainly composed of a stainless steel box, a refrigeration system, a heating system, an air circulation system, and a control system.
