A. Brief introduction
The double planetary ball mill is an essential equipment for mixing, fine grinding, sample preparation, dispersion of nano-materials, development of new products, and small-scale production of high-tech materials. This product is small in size, comprehensive in function, high in efficiency, and low in noise. It is an ideal device for research institutions, universities, and enterprise laboratories to obtain micro-particle research samples (four samples can be obtained simultaneously in each experiment). When equipped with a vacuum ball mill container, it can grind samples under vacuum conditions. It is widely used in departments such as geology, mineral resources, metallurgy, electronics, building materials, ceramics, chemical industry, light industry, beauty, and environmental protection. The rotational speed, alternate time of forward and reverse rotation, and total grinding time can be set according to process requirements.
B. Working principle
The DPBM series planetary ball mill is equipped with two small planetary discs on a single large planetary disc. Two rotating ball grinding tanks are installed on each of the small planetary discs. The large planetary disc drives the small planetary discs to move. The orbital radius and the rotational speed of the grinding tanks are magnified compared to those of ordinary ball mills of the same specification. The centrifugal force acting on the grinding balls is increased by several times, and the collision, shear, and friction forces between the grinding balls are significantly enhanced, thereby improving the grinding effect and efficiency. This product can be used for grinding and mixing products of different particle sizes and materials using both dry and wet methods. The minimum particle size of the ground products can reach 0.1 micrometer (i.e., 1.0×10mm-4).

Process control

Planetary mechanism lubrication method
The planetary gear transmission system is lubricated with grease. It is necessary for manual addition of grease at the designated oiling holes in the equipment on a regular basis for lubrication

D. Product feature
a. The equipment is designed with a professional appearance, and its casing is made through high-precision laser cutting and CNC bending. It is elegant, exquisite, high-end and stable.
b. The planetary disc and structural components are processed by CNC technology and undergo nitriding metal heat treatment. This ensures the wear resistance of the rotating shaft components and prevents shaft breakage. The transmission gears use precision gears made of non-metallic and metallic combinations, and are lubricated by liquid oil in the gearbox. It is safe, reliable, has low noise, no pollution and low wear.
c. The ball mill tank adopts planetary motion, resulting in high ball mill efficiency and fine particle size.
d. The frequency converter has under-voltage and over-current protection, which can protect electrical components such as motors.
e. The cover is opened by a hydraulic support rod, and the limit switch ensures the normal operation of the equipment and the personal safety of the operator.
f. The window glass is made of single-layer tempered glass, which not only reduces noise and vibration but also ensures personal safety.
g. Two sets of exhaust fans are used for forced ventilation and cooling, forming an internal circulation cooling system with one inlet and one outlet.
